the PhD candidates In preparing your presentation, please note that: - 15 minutes will be available for the actual presentation and 5 minutes for a discussion. The session chairmen will be instructed to keep strictly to the time schedule. - a computer and beamer will be available for the presentations. No other equipment will be provided. The Technical Program of the Symposium consists of presentations of ongoing research projects from PhD candidates. In conjunction with this Technical Program a number of other activities are organized: - awards will be granted for the 5 best papers/presentations of the Symposium during the award ceremony at 12:00h on Saturday 19th June, 2004 at the Civil Engineering building of TU Delft, lecture theatre E. The first prize is an award of 1000 Euros. - before the award ceremony a tour through the laboratories of TU Delft will be organized. - the Post-Symposium Intensive Course “Applied Tensor Analysis for Constitutive Modeling ” will be given in the week after the Symposium at the Civil Engineering building of TU Delft. Registration should be done before the 1st June, 2004.
